For the First Time in Years… BOTH Disney Water Parks Are Open This Summer!

Get ready to double the splash this summer, because Walt Disney World is bringing back BOTH of its water parks—Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach—for the first time since 2019!

In celebration of Blizzard Beach’s 30th anniversary, Disney just announced that from May 21 through September 7, guests can soak up the sun and enjoy all six Disney parks—four theme parks and two water parks—for a full summer of fun.

Before Blizzard Beach reopens, it’ll close temporarily from May 1–20 for a little pre-season “melt away” time. But after that, it’s game on for wave pools, water slides, lazy rivers, and frosty fun!

NEW in 2025: Free Water Park Admission for Resort Guests

Starting in 2025, Disney Resort guests can kick off their vacation with a splash—free water park admission on arrival day is now included! And this summer, guests get to choose between two water parks: the tropical Typhoon Lagoon or the snow-covered thrills of Blizzard Beach.

H2O Glow After Hours is Back (and Better Than Ever!)

When the sun goes down, the party lights up at H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon! On select nights from May 23 through September 13, enjoy:

• A nighttime water park experience

• Complimentary snacks and frozen treats

• Shorter lines and cooler temps

• Toy Story character appearances

• Dance parties under the stars

Tickets start at just $42.50 for kids—half the price of this year’s adult ticket! Annual Passholders and DVC Members can score discounts too.

H2O Glow tickets are on sale now (April 1) for select Resort guests, and general sales begin April 4.
